Have a new client who is looking for more validation that iOS is underattributed:
Context:
-App is in niche category with low brand awareness, subscription
-Running 100% of media spend on Meta iOS (around $800/day), using AEM
-In MMP (appsflyer), around 30% of total installs (+ events) are attributed to Meta
-My guess is that Meta is really driving closer to 60-80% of total numbers
Caveat:
-Client has not done meaningful incrementality test / shut off campaigns in a while so don't have a true measure of organic baseline at the moment (I completely understand this is what we need for more datapoints, but the client also cannot afford to lose revenue right now)
Overall my question is whether folks are seeing similar %s of underattribution within iOS or if we're way off and there's something that I'm not yet seeing, such as something might be potentially wrong with our implementation (missing IDs or such). With AEM, there shouldn't be thresholds that need to be met such as with SKAN right? Thanks!
