Google Ads Demand Gen W2A Issue

Hey everyone! Looking for some feedback on a Demand Gen W2A (EAC) campaign we're testing in Google Ads.

We're running it with Maximize Conversions and no target CPA/bid set, and using broad targeting. The campaign spent its entire daily budget within a couple of hours, without showing a single install during that time. A couple of hours later, 3 installs eventually appeared in our MMP, but we're still not seeing any trials.

Has anyone experienced Demand Gen spending its budget this aggressively, particularly with a W2A setup?

My Thoughts:
My initial thought is that the campaign may not have been receiving the right attribution/conversion signals quickly enough. The installs did eventually show up, so it seems like there may have been some reporting or signal delay.

I'm considering adding a target CPA to help control the pace of spend and give the campaign more time to generate install and trial data before exhausting its budget.

Curious if anyone has run into something similar or has suggestions on how they would approach this. Thanks!

are u using appstack? you should see conversions pretty fast according to my experience (especially installs).
ALWAYS go with tCPA and if your budget is limited, I recommend using audience signals and not going with broad.
