Enhanced app campaigns on Meta

Hey! I wanted to understand what the best way is to run EAC on Meta/TikTok and if it's possible to do it directly from the MMP (Adjust).

Or if you recommend any specific platforms like Appstack for this.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I do use EAC and I'm very happy with the results and most importantly, with the signal accuracy and setup but you can also run the same campaigns with MMPs.

It is not a "secret weapon" that only can be run with appstack. The advantage of appstack is that the whole platform has been naturally built for that while MMPs are not built for that. Because of that, you will have a more stable performance with appstack, because they don't fail sending the conversions so your campaigns will learn better while with MMPs I've had crazy discrepancies and fluctuations with the events

When we talk about the EAC are we talking only about App Promotion campaigns right? Nothing related to web-to-app

Not working with Appstack for the moment. App Promo campaigns have ups and downs for me...

No - actually the advantage of EAC is to run web campaigns that redirect to the store (web to app). You can't run app campaigns with EAC.
Is it worth promoting subscription-based mobile apps — or games as well — through EAC?

And yes, All the success I had is with in subscription-based apps
I have not tested gaming yet

EAC is a clever branding phrase for web campaigns that get conversion feedback based on in app signals matched to fbclid/gclid (and possibly other identifiers). I’ve seen various names for this workaround that gives more levers of control vs mostly automated app promo, which can indeed result in better efficiency as few people here commented.

So, click persister > join key (user_id/purchase/transaction_id/etc) > API based conversion signal emitter = BOOM

If the advertiser has at least one savvy engineer in-house who knows how to read Platforms’ API documentation or dev guides they can make the custom solution/workflow for their own app. However, engineering time costs in addition to opportunity cost of not have them working on the app (and possibly cost of some 3P tools you might wanna use to capture & store identifiers). In that regard, depending on pricing & client’s data sharing (in)sensitivity this can be a packaged solution that saves time.

Summarized quite nicely here already. Easiest way to get it running is with dedicated tools like auidencelab.ai or appstack. Audiencelab has been more popular among mobile gaming, Appstack among apps.

Seen some mixed results with MMPs, as they are not built specifically for this purpose

based on what i know it is not as simple as that to do it in-house (it involves complex links api's deployed worldwide for low latencies, capacity to handle client/server side events, a matching protocol happening at the device level, and streamlined process to send the signal in real-time), but for sure a compnay doing +100M ARR could afford it.
