$100-200/day Ad Budget – Best Campaign Structure?

Hi,

Running $100-200/day and trying to figure out the best setup. Two options I'm considering:
  • Option A: 1 campaign → 1 adset → 10 creatives
  • Option B: 1 campaign → 3 adsets (1 per persona) → 3-5 creatives each
What's working for you guys?

if you have that low budget, having 3 adsets makes no sense if you're optimizing towards purchase/subscription as you won't exit the learning phase, leading to tanking performance.

so it really depends on the campaigns objective first.

I'd say that option B is cleaner and give you more granularity about the asset angle performance but again, it doesnt make sense if you can generate enough events per day on each ad set

Thanks. Objective would be start trial or purchase .

Would you suggest using Meta SDK , MMP or Appstack ?

Do you prefer CBO or ABO when using multiple ad sets?

Definitely option B for the reasons davamosk shared... you don't want to spread the signal too thin, otherwise you won't get enough signals and performance will likely tank. As for the best setup, at this level of spend I'd automatically rule out MMPs and, if anything, Meta SDK but I've found more success with Appstack's setup at this lower spend level.

At this level of spend (or even $300/day) how do you test creatives?

With only 1 ad set your historical "winner" is getting all the spend.

Thanks, I will try that.

Just to clarify: B) was 3 ad sets. You mean A) with 1 adset, right ?
