AI EU ACT - Creative Labeling

Hey guys,
since second august we have to label AI generated Creatives/Textings in the EU.

What is your best way for it? Some networks have this AI-Button which you can select and it will appear a small sign in the corner. For example Tiktok. But not all networks have this. So are you now edit all your creatives with a small sign in the top/bottm corner?

Love to hear/see some examples :)

Best,

Got some news from this. My client received this:

We are writing to let you know about a new transparency experience for ads on Meta.

Meta is consolidating transparency information into the 'About this Ad' section, accessible via the three-dot menu, where users expect to find transparency details about an ad.

What’s New: If Meta detects that generative AI was used — whether through some of Meta's generative AI ad creative tools or third-party tools — an "AI info" label will appear in the "About this Ad" section. To view it, tap the three dots on the ad, tap "About this Ad," then tap "AI info."

How detection works:

For ads created with Meta's generative AI ad creative tools, we label content that was created or significantly edited.

For third-party GenAI tools, Meta uses the industry-standard C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) detection method to identify when ad content has been created or edited using GenAI tools.

This feature will also soon include existing transparency signals such as payer and beneficiary details, SIEP (ads about social issues, elections or politics) disclaimers, account info, and partnership ads info, if available in your region.

This update is designed to help advertisers build trust with their audiences through transparency, while simplifying the process.

What this means for you:

No action is required on your part. Meta automatically detects if AI was used.

Thanks for sharing. What about other sources. Google, DSPs (Moloco, Liftoff etc.), Snap, Applovin etc.

Tiktok has this toggle what u can use.

Info for all.

Google, Tiktok, Meta - the big sources have all an toggle which you can use manually to turn the AI Media Disclosure on. So you dont have to touch ur creatives again.

For example Moloco doesnt have a solution like that yet. So there you have to rework your creatives and put ur AI batch on it 2 be save.
