X Ads (Twitter) - Event optimization removed?

Hi folks,

I'm re-testing X ads after a really long time without using it and I was wondering if they removed the event optimization as an option? I can only run CPI or traffic campaigns for iOS despite having the MMP correctly connected and the purchase event flowing towards X with no issues.

has anyone run X ads lately?

I don't have any app connected to my personal account, but don't you have "in-app event" option on the ad set level?

Tbh wouldn't be surprised to learn they've removed AEO.

I'm 100% they never had any AEO for iOS. They had some for Android, but never tested it. Last time I was involved into X ads we've been doing everything through CPI, trying to maximize CTR and minimize CPC and then pray it'll work

yeah let's see - we just launched CPI haha but I'm not confident with that. Thanks for the help!
