Attribution Windows

Hey,

I've been working with Adjust for a long time, in Adjust I would set the same attribution window for all my connected partners. For example:

All my partner would be running on a 7 days click through look back window for Installs and 1 day engage view lookback attribution window.


When I check Appsflyer, I see that they do recommend a different look back attribution window per channel. They recommend a shorter timeframe for Unity and a longer one for Google ads.


Is there any benefit on trusting the MMP in this matter? for me goes completely against logic, but who knows! i just want to get your opinion on the topic.

7d click 1d view is the standard for social ads + ASA but for DSPs for example i go with 6h view so I avoid the massive stealing from organic
 
But is not fair that Google has 7 days post click look back (as recommended by Appsflyer) and Unity only 2 days. Since all the partners work now with their SDK traffic too.

View lookback I get it, but click?
 
Long time without running Unity - does Unity recommend 2 days? it seems odd to me tbh

do NOT use 1d view through for ASA or any search channel...

What are the recommended settings for ASA then, please? ✍️
As I have turned off Install view-through attribution and 7D for click-through.
Also, an inactivity window to ignore users who are active in the last 7 days.
